Get an iPhone or Other Valuable Gifts, and Support the Oasis Project

Through August 15, all TeachMac, TeachIT or Oasis Project contributors will be eligible for entry in a drawing for an 8 Gig iPhone to be given away on August 15. Each module submission, purchase of an individual module, or subscription purchase from TeachMac or TeachIT will count as an entry. Each Oasis Project donation will also count as an entry. (multiple entries accepted.) Supporters can also enter by writing a short paragraph explaining why they support the Oasis Project. Only one support statement from an individual will count as an entry.

In addition to being entered in the drawing for the iPhone, individuals who contribute $50.00 or more, or buy a subscription to TeachMac or TeachIT, will automatically receive a gift from TeachMac or one of the following sponsers: Belkin, Freeverse, Macally Peripherals, shinywhitebox, and ScreenCasts Online.

What is the Oasis Project?

The Oasis Project is a community centered around recovery from domestic violence. In addition to housing, the Oasis Project will provide counseling, a school particularly sensitive to the needs of children traumatized by violence, continuing education for the parents including college level courses, and medical and legal aid. Working with traditional shelters, the Oasis Project seeks to provide long term support for women whose lives are most at risk.

Created Equal board members have pledged to match donations made to the Oasis Project (up to a total of $1 Million).


Rules

1. No purchase or donation is required to win. An individual may enter multiple times by purchasing single modules and subscriptions, submitting modules to TeachMac/TeachIT, and donating to the Oasis Project. Only one written statement of support will count as an entry.
   

2. Each module submitted between July 10 and 11:00 August 15 2007 PST will be automatically entered in the iPhone drawing pool.
   

3. The drawing will be conducted at 11:00 PM PST on August 15, 2007. The winner will be contacted via email and the winner’s name will be posted to the TeachMac and TeachIT websites. The winner will have 30 days to respond and claim the prize.
   

4. Paragraphs written in support of the Oasis Project as entries in the iPhone drawing become the property of Created Equal and may be used for promotional materials with the author’s name attached.
   

5. TeachMac and CreatedEqual employees, board members and sponsors are ineligible for any Prize.
   

6. Donors of $50.00 or more and subscription purchasers will receive gifts chosen by TeachMac by September 30, 2007.
   

7. TeachMac and Created Equal reserve the right to amend or cancel the giveaway at any time for any reason.
